Nancy Alden designs reflect the experience of an extraordinary career in jewelry. Starting as a silver and goldsmith, she then founded a major retail and wholesale bead business which became a much-copied model.  As the principal buyer and designer of a multi-million dollar company, she traveled the world in search of the most beautiful components for jewelry design.  

 Asked by Random House to author a series of books, she shared her design and production techniques in fully comprehensive and easy to follow guides.

Today, she has set aside her roles as business leader and teacher, to return to her true love - designing and creating classically beautiful jewelry from a wealth of components.  She divides her time between New England, Europe and the Caribbean, making her work available on a commission basis and at a select retailers.
