Sharing her experience of more than twenty-five years, Nancy Alden has produced a series of beautifully illustrated jewelry design books, published by Random House.

Each has more than 40 attractive necklace and earring designs, with easy-to-follow instructions. Although many are relatively simple to make, these are designs for real jewelry and display the elegance and professional detail women expect in the jewelry they wear. Chapters on materials, techniques and concepts make these books a wonderful introduction to the art, and the sophisticated designs provide inspiration and guidance for those who are already experienced.

Nancy’s first two books, Simply Pearls and Simply Silver. Simply Gold were published in 2006 and 2007. The third in the series, A Touch of Glass, was published 2008, and the fourth, Simply Gemstones, in 2009. From 2010, a compendium volume, Simply Stunning, is available, with a selection of designs from each book.
